North Duplin boys notch 1st win of season

CALYPSO -- North Duplin had three players finish in double figures as the Rebels got their first win of the season, 52-43, over East Duplin on Thursday evening.
Cedrick Kornegay led North Duplin with 13 points. Tyree Payton and Trey Pate added 11 and 10 points, respectively. Kaleb Brock scored nine points.
Jonathan Hall and Drake Lanier combined for 30 points for East Duplin.
North Duplin (1-3 overall) entertains reigning Carolina 1-A Conference regular-season champion Neuse Charter on Tuesday.
