Aycock's Warner takes 2 events at South Johnston meet

FOUR OAKS -- Charles B. Aycock's Courtney Warner emerged victorious in two individual events during a multi-team meet contested at South Johnston on Thursday afternoon.
Warner won the 55-meter dash in 7.0 seconds and claimed the 300 meters in 42.6 seconds. Kassandra Sandoval placed third in the 55 hurdles (11.2), while Bre'onna Bryant secured third i nthe 300 meters in 46.1 seconds.
Aycock finished fifth with 31 team points.
On the boys' side, TJ Morrow and Berry Ellis shared third place in the 300 meters with a time of 38.8 seconds. Joseph Sutton took second in the triple jump (35-3) and Ellis was fifth in the 55 hurdles (10.1 seconds).
The Golden Falcons' 800 relay captured third place.
Aycock compiled 22 team points.
