Lejeune upends Rosewood in OT in 1A soccer

JACKSONVILLE -- Lejeune tallied a pair of overtime goals and handed Rosewood a season-ending, 5-3 defeat in opening-round action of the NCHSAA 1-A playoffs.
Marquail Almontaser and Ethan Chapin provided one goal and one assist apiece for the Eagles. Teammate Stalen Massengill logged a first-half goal.
Rosewood concluded the season 10-7-1 overall.
