Uziel Garcia notched the eventual game-winning goal in the 46th minute as North Lenoir rallied past Goldsboro, 4-2, in an Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference game Monday evening.
Eric Holloway put the Hawks on the board in the 23rd minute on assist from Marco Campos. Holloway scored again three minutes into the second half on Braxton Greene's assist.
After Garcia's goal, North Lenoir capped its comeback when Greene fed a goal-scoring pass to Campos.
Hawks keeper Jacob Baird posted six saves.
Ruben Quiroz and Jacob Seate each logged a goal for the Cougars, who attempted three corner kicks in the game. Luke McAlduff recorded a season- and career-high 23 saves between the pipes.
North Lenoir (10-11-1 overall, 7-2 ECC) concludes regular-season play against Ayden-Grifton on Wednesday. Goldsboro is the guest of Greene Central the same evening.
