Wayne Christian captures CCC middle school volleyball tournament title

The Wayne Christian Middle School volleyball team emerged as the 2014 Carolina Christian 1-A Conference tournament champion after a three-set conquest of previously-unbeaten Neuse Christian on Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles won the match 25-13, 17-25, 25-22. "The games were so intense and the players did great," said WCS head coach Lauren Rouse, whose team finished runner-up in regular-season play.
