• Soccer: Wayne Country Day 1, Freedom 1 -- Drew Barnes notched the tying goal to draw even with Freedom 1-1 on Tuesday. David Gurley had the assist. They host Greenfield Thursday.
• Volleyball: James Kenan 2, North Duplin 1 -- James Kenan held off North Duplin in three sets 25-23, 21-25, 25-16 on Tuesday night. Haley Brogden led the Rebels with five kills. Alyssa Santos had four aces.
• Volleyball: Lakewood 2, Rosewood 0 -- Lakewood handed Rosewood a 25-7, 25-11 defeat on Tuesday.
