League-leading Lakewood cruises past Rosewood

Rosewood continued its struggles in its fourth match since setter Ada Rivera returned from injury with a 14-25, 16-25, 11-25 loss to Carolina 1-A powerhouse Lakewood on Tuesday night.
Rivera had 14 assists and Callie Thornton had 12 digs for the Eagles.
Ashley Thornton led the team with seven kills.
Rosewood is 11-10 overall and 6-7 in conference play and will play host North Duplin on Thursday.
