Marco Camps notched the game-winning goal late in the second half, capping North Lenoir's come-from-behind 3-2 win over Kinston on Monday evening.
It was the Eastern Carolina 2-A opener for both teams.
The Hawks trimmed the Vikings' two-goal deficit to 2-1 when Nic Kennedy converted a penalty kick in the 68th minute. Kennedy headed home the equalizer six minutes later on an assist from Mike Bednarz.
Bednarz assisted Camps on the final goal.
North Lenoir (4-8-1 overall, 1-0-0 ECC) entertains Greene Central on Wednesday.
