Soccer: Wayne Country Day 4, Arendell-Parrott Academy 1 -- The Chargers scored in the first two minutes against Parrott and never looked back. DJ Drew and John Thompson each had a goal and an assist. Frank Best and David Gurley added a goal apiece.
Neuse River YFL
* 12-Under: C.B. Aycock 46, Mount Olive 18 -- Omar Tucker rushed for 240 yards and five touchdowns for the unbeaten Little Falcons. Tyler Hughes added 140 yards and two TDs. Tyler Hughes emerged as the defensive leader with 12 tackles and a fumble recovery. Noah Honrine logged 11 tackles, while Clay Matthews and Tucker posted eight stops apiece. Aycock (2-0 overall) entertains Spring Creek next Tuesday.
