Eagles' Chapin, Almontaser combine for 4 goals, 2 assists in lopsided win

Seven different players scratched in the scoring column during Rosewood's 9-1 romp over Neuse Charter on the Carolina 1-A Conference scene Monday evening.
Ethan Chapin and Marquail Almontaser provided two goals and one assist apiece for the Eagles, who rose to 3-2-1 overall and 1-1-1 against conference opposition this season. Daniel Aburto collected two assists.
Joshua Drew, Jaden Thomas, Bryce McKeel, Jordan Gurley and Chase Bartlett also scored. Khalil Warren and Hayden Amodeo each logged an assist.
Rosewood entertains Spring Creek on Wednesday. Kickoff is 6 p.m. at Branch Pope Field.
