Rose notches goal, assist for Wayne Christian

Wayne Christian opened its Carolina Christian 1-A Conference season with a 4-3 loss to Cape Fear Christian on Tuesday.
Tanner Rose recorded a goal and an assist for the Eagles. Teammates Matt Coulter and Holden Foster each supplied one goal.
Nathaniel Young and Jaxon Anderson each had an assist.
WCS keeper Chandler King posted four saves.
Weather permitting, the Eagles (0-5-0 overall, 0-1-0 CCC) entertain CCC foe Neuse Christian on Friday.
