GREENVILLE -- Wayne Country Day conceded two goals, including a penalty kick, but stormed back to defeat Oakwood, 5-2, on Wednesday afternoon.
Tony Townsend scored twice for the Chargers. Noah Adkins, substitute Danny Lee and Hunter Bryson each added a goal to the total.
Bryson, Jacob Magera and Patrick Hall all tallied an assist.
"The game really came into our favor when I brought Danny Lee on," head coach Steven Ellis said. "He was physical and calm on the ball, scored a really good goal which eased us the rest of the game."
The Chargers (6-2-1 overall) entertain Wilmington Christian on Friday. Kickoff is 4:30 p.m.
