CBA's Mooneyham 4th, EW's Wright 7th, SW's Womble 10th in ECC cross country meet

WINTERVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock's Joseph Mooneyham placed fourth overall in 19 minutes, 29.54 seconds during a multi-team, Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet at Boyd Park.
Eastern Wayne's Videll Wright took sixth in 19:44.97.
Anthony Womble emerged as Southern Wayne's top finisher with a 10th-place time of 20:15.21. Teammate Cole Atwood crossed the line 11th in 20:16.25.
The Saints placed fourth in team competition with 101 points. The Warriors compiled 147 points and the Golden Falcons had 152.
On the girls' side, Eastern Wayne's Kristina Muses captured the top spot among 3-A competitors with a 31st-place effort of 28:04.52. C.B. Aycock's Georgia Parnell wound up 41st in 29:21.76.
The Saints' Dixie Ramirez took 46th in 29:50.21.
Aycock amassed 153 points to lead the 3-A teams. The Warriors and Saints had 181 and 189 points, respectively.
