ECBL: C.B. Aycock Blue shuts out Wilson Christian

WILSON -- Charlie Robertson threw a complete-game shutout and Charles B. Aycock Blue beat Wilson Christian 9-0 in Eastern Carolina Baseball League action on Tuesday.
Robertson surrendered just one hit and struck out 13 batters.
Trent Herndon (RBI) and Bobby Hampton (double) each had two hits for the Golden Falons, who improved to 7-2. Cameron Kornegay added two RBI and Brandon Palmer had a double.
CBA drew 12 walks.
The Golden Falcons entertain Southern Wayne Red today. First pitch is 6 p.m. at Charles Davis Field in Pikeville.
