Golden Falcons drop ECC 3A/4A soccer match at DH Conley

GREENVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock scored a goal in the first five minutes, but D.H. Conley eventually pulled away for a 10-2 win in the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference finale for both teams Wednesday evening.
Ariel Strickland scored the first goal of the game on an assist from her sister Alex. Alex Strickland scored the other goal for the Golden Falcons on an unassisted breakaway.
CBA trailed 3-2 at halftime.
The Vikings erupted in for seven second-half goals.
The Golden Falcons (9-8-1 overall) compiled a 3-8-1 record against ECC opposition this season.
