Roberts plays in Elite 24 Classic

WILMINGTON -- Jaylen Roberts scored a single basket and hauled down 11 rebounds during the boys' game in the Southeast Elite 24 Classic Basketball event contested at Ashley High School.
Roberts participated on the "Team Got Now" squad that included University of Cincinnati signee Gary Clark of Clayton. Andrew Lopez, who recently helped lead Kinston to its third 2-A state championship, played on the "Team Got Next" squad.
Proceeds from the tournament benefited the American Heart Association.
