Hawks slip by Blue Devils in ECC 2A baseball

North Lenoir threw four pitchers Tuesday evening to pick up an 8-7 victory over Eastern Carolina 2-A archrival South Lenoir.
Drew Burke got the win on the mound as the third pitcher throwing and Noah Reese picked up the save pitching a perfect seventh.
Luke Jackson paced the Hawks offense with three hits and three RBI. Reese, Daron Gray and Tyler Smith each added two hits for the Hawks. Landon Letchworth and Jacob Baird rounded out the hitting for North Lenoir.
North Lenoir (8-3 overall, 3-0 ECC) entertains Goldsboro on Friday.
