Gator softball team rolls past Tigers in the "The Swamp"

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Ashley Marriner and Rachel McCollum combined for 10 strikeouts in five innings as Spring Creek scored a 14-4, mercy-rule victory over Carolina 1-A Conference foe James Kenan.
Alanna Price led the offense for Spring Creek with three doubles. Daisy Martinez added three hits, including a triple and a double. Marriner, McCollum, Sarah Ford, Sydney Ocker and Haley Jones all had hits.
Spring Creek (6-3 overall, 3-2 CC) entertains North Duplin on Thursday.
