Saints fall to powerhouse J.H. Rose

DUDLEY -- J.D. Clark swatted two home runs and finished with four RBI as J.H. Rose defeated Southern Wayne, 15-6, in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference game Friday afternoon.
Josh Jernigan and Jacob Hollingsworth each had two hits for the Saints. Hunter Barwick (RBI), Cody Davis (RBI) and Matt Holland (RBI) each had one hit.
Hollingsworth took the pitching loss.
Southern Wayne is the guest of archrival Eastern Wayne on Tuesday.
