Spring Creek shuts out Princeton on baseball diamond

PRINCETON -- Logan Miller and Chad Spurgeon combined for a three-hitter during Spring Creek's 6-0 conquest of Carolina 1-A Conference foe Spring Creek on Monday evening.
Miller and Spurgeon combined for 10 strikeouts.
Spurgeon paced the Gators' offense with three hits, two RBI and three stolen bases. Miller provided a two-RBI hit. Allen Coor, Matt Rogers and Levi Miller contributed one hit apiece.
Alex Harmon had two hits for Princeton.
The Bulldogs' Nick Phillips and Alex Harmon combined to give up four earned runs on eight hits and seven walks.
Spring Creek (7-2 overall, 4-0 CC) is the guest of Rosewood on Friday.
