Wayne Christian wins mercy-rule affair

The Eagles toppled Greenville Christian, 10-0, in six innings on Thursday afternoon.
Ted Suggs led the way for the Eagles with two doubles, a single, two runs scored and an RBI. Ryan Kennedy tacked on three RBI in his two-double performance. Trey Hinton added two hits and two runs scored.
Suggs went the distance on the mound for the Eagles throwing six scoreless innings allowing only two runners to reach base. He finished the game with seven strikeouts.
The Eagles take on Wilson Christian Academy on Monday.
