North Lenoir baseball falls to Fike, 2-1

North Lenoir dropped a 2-1, non-conference decision to Fike on Thursday.
Luke Jackson had a hit and scored the only run for the Hawks. Tyler Smith had the RBI. Jacob Baird and Noah Reese also added hits.
Smith got the start on the mound for the Hawks. He pitched six innings allowing just one run on a solo homer in the second inning. He struck out six and allowed four hits.
Chad Ginn came on in relief and endured the loss allowing one unearned run on one hit.
North Lenoir (4-2 overall) faces Southern Wayne next Wednesday.
