Warriors fall on road at New Bern

NEW BERN -- Brandon Johnson recorded Eastern Wayne's lone hit in a 16-1, five-inning loss to Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe New Bern on Friday afternoon.
Coy Barnett took the pitching loss.
"(A) long day at the park," EW head coach Jabo Fulghum said.
The Warriors (2-4 overall, 1-1 ECC) travel to Wilson Hunt on Monday.
