Tigers slip past Princeton in Carolina 1A baseball opener

WARSAW -- James Kenan tallied a pair of sixth-inning runs and turned back Princeton, 3-2, in the Carolina 1-A Conference opener for both teams Friday evening.
Matt Edwards and Alex Harmon each had one hit for the Bulldogs. Mario Cisneros collected an RBI.
Matt Daughtry endured the pitching loss. He allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits, walked two and fanned seven James Kenan batters.
Princeton (3-3 overall, 0-1 CC) entertains Neuse Charter on Tuesday.
