Kinston girls crush Goldsboro

Defending 2-A state champion Kinston scored the first 12 points of the game, built as much as a 25-point first-half lead and rolled past Goldsboro, 75-37, in Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference play Tuesday evening.
Senior Brittany Drumgoole led three Vikings in double figures with 16 points. Jada Faison added 14, while Takerian Harper chipped in 11.
Sophomore Tyona Moses knocked down 15 points for the Cougars, who shot 11 of 52 from the floor and committed 23 turnovers.
Goldsboro (6-11 overall, 3-2 ECC) visits Greene Central today.
