MISENHEIMER -- Dory Hines recorded the first triple-double in University of Mount Olive men's basketball history during an 86-65 victory over in-state Conference Carolinas foe Pfeiffer University at Merner Gym on Wednesday evening.

Hines finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the Trojans, who extended their win streak to five games. Heading into the game, Hines had four double-doubles this season and narrowly missed a triple-double on two occasions.

Hines is the second Trojan basketball player -- male or female -- to record a triple-double this season. Jasmine McDonald had 16 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists against Virginia Union on Dec. 8, which was the third triple-double in UMO women's basketball history.

Dontrell Brite led five Trojans in double figures with 14 points, while Dominique Reed finished with 12 points. Jordan McCain and John Weiland added 11 points apiece.

Mount Olive went 10-of-18 (55.6 percent) from 3-point range and shot 55.0 percent (33-for-60) overall from the field.

The Trojans (13-7) improved to 7-3 in league play this season.
