Princeton boys upend Neuse Charter in OT

SMITHFIELD -- Princeton rallied from a double-digit, first-half deficit and knocked off Neuse Charter, 75-65, in overtime during their Carolina 1-A Conference game Monday evening.
The Dogs outscored Neuse 15-5 in the extra session.
Michael Wooten led four Princeton players in double figures with 21 points. Colby Norris contributed 20 points. Tanner Woodard and Alex Whitley knocked down 18 and 11 points, respectively.
Princeton (7-7 overall, 5-3 CC) handed Neuse its second defeat in conference play this season. Weather permitting, the Bulldogs travel to Lakewood on Thursday.
