Lakewood knocks off Spring Creek boys

SALEMBURG -- Lakewood buried seven 3-pointers and knocked off Spring Creek, 55-47, in a Carolina 1-A Conference game Friday evening.
Tre Hammonds paced the Gators with 12 points and five rebounds. Brandon Gonzalez contributed 11 points and six rebounds.
"(We) were never able to get on track or in rhythm," SC head coach Taylor Jones said.
The Gators (8-7 overall, 4-4 Carolina) entertain Hobbton on Tuesday.
