SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The University of Mount Olive women's basketball team led from start to finish and presented head coach Wendy Lee career win No. 200 with a 64-41 thrashing of Conference Carolinas foe Converse (S.C.) on Saturday afternoon.

Ty Wallace recorded a double-double, career highs of 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Trojans, who improved to 10-7 overall and 5-4 against league opposition this season. East Carolina transfer Katie Paschal knocked down a team-leading 16 points.

Kirksten Mitchell supplied 13 points in a reserve role. Jasmine McDonald posted eight points, five assists and four steals.

Coach Lee's path to her second set of 100 wins took just four full seasons and parts of two others. She reached the 100-win mark 10 games into the 2008-2009 season.

UMO entered its 2013-14 campaign with eight straight winning seasons under its belt. The Trojans have made two NCAA Division II tournament appearances and won a pair of conference championships with Lee on the bench.

Joneiqua Gary's 3-pointer broke an early tie and Mitchell's 3 gave Mount Olive a 17-4 lead against Converse with 12:20 left in the opening half. The margin never fell below double digits and Leah Graham's jumper with 8:03 remaining gave Mount Olive its biggest lead -- 23-7 -- during the first 20 minutes.

The Valkyries (0-17, 0-9) pulled to within 10 points on Avery Winchester's layup with 28 seconds to go before halftime. Paschal answered with a jumper to make it 27-15 at the break.

Mitchell's 3-pointer triggered a 14-3 UMO run in the second half. The Trojans' lead swelled to 20 points on Wallace's basket with about 10 minutes to go.

Paschal added two free throws and the margin never dropped below 18 points the rest of the way.

UMO returns to action Wednesday at archrival Barton. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m. at Wilson Gymnasium.
