Neuse hits late FTs, edges Rosewood's boys

SMITHFIELD -- Neuse Charter converted two free throws with 8 seconds left and edged Rosewood, 56-54, in a Carolina 1-A Conference game Thursday evening.
Dennis Mitchell paced the Eagles' offense with 21 points. Jon Hair added 12.
Rosewood travels to Hobbton today.
