Conley girls turn back C.B. Aycock

GREENVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock couldn't sustain its lead in the second half of a 47-38 loss at Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference opponent D.H. Conley on Tuesday evening.
The Golden Falcons built a 24-19 lead during the first two quarters.
Aycock was outscored 28-14 in the second half including 17-3 in the third quarter.
Taylor Daniels led the Golden Falcons with 14 points. Myleah Jones added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Aycock (5-9 overall, 1-3 ECC) plays host to South Central on Friday.
