Rosewood boys slip past North Duplin

CALYPSO -- Rosewood rallied for a 59-56 win at Carolina 1-A Conference opponent North Duplin on Tuesday evening.

The Rebels led 31-23 at halftime, but were outscored 36-25 in the second half.

Dennis Mitchell scored 25 points for the Eagles and Zack Barnes added 20.

Daron Goodman led North Duplin with 16 points. James Britt and Cody Ivey each had 10 points.

North Duplin (3-7 overall, 2-2 CC) plays host to Hobbton tonight. Rosewood (3-9, 2-2) entertains Spring Creek on Friday.
