Rosewood's Lee wins two events

Bryanna Lee emerged victorious in two individual events and Rosewood's girls prevailed in two relays during a Carolina 1-A Conference meet contested at the Eagles' track on Wednesday afternoon.
Lee claimed the pole vault with a leap of 7 feet, 6 inches; and captured the 1,000-meter run by 22 seconds over her nearest competitor. Teammate Alysse Atwell seized the 500-meter dash in 1 minute, 37 seconds.
Cadee Moore won the 3,200-meter run in 15:14.
Rosewood secured the 1,600- and 3,200-meter relays, and compiled a meet-best 81 points on the day.
Spring Creek junior Rachel McCollum won the shot put with a distance of 29-6, and finished runner-up in the 55-meter dash with a time of 8.2 seconds.
Princeton received individual wins from Megan Evans (1,600 run) and Jasmine Bombard (long jump). Bombard placed second in the 300 dash.
On the boys' side, Spring Creek senior Gage Abbott captured first place in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 3:00. Princeton's Hunter Mitchell and Jose Moreno crossed the finish line second and third, respectively.
The Bulldogs' Jose Aguilar took first place in the 3,200 run (11:52) and 1,600 run (5:17). Rosewood's Dalton Farmer and Spring Creek's Alex Abreze finished second and third, respectively, behind Aguilar in the 3,200 run.
Princeton also won the 3,200 relay.
