Reid resigns from Goldsboro High

The News-Argus learned this morning after deadline that Eric Reid has resigned as head football coach at Goldsboro High.
Reid guided the Cougars to 61 wins, four conference titles and six playoff appearances during his tenure on the sideline.
Goldsboro High administrators listed the job opening on the N.C. High School Athletic Association website Tuesday. According to an anonymous source, nearly 40 applicants have shown interest in the program.
