PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock snapped a three-game losing streak with a 55-23 win over Greene Central on Wednesday evening.
Myleah Jones led the Golden Falcons with 20 points. Taylor Daniels contributed 13 points.
Aycock (3-3 overall) used stingy defense to fuel a 13-0 run in the first half that broke the game open. The Rams were held to four points in each of the first two quarters.
"We've done some new things defensively," Golden Falcons' head coach Ryan Wells said. "It was the first time we were in that tonight and it looked good. I think it fits the personnel well."
The Golden Falcons travel to Rosewood on Friday.
