North Lenoir shuts out S. Lenoir

DEEP RUN -- North Lenoir grabbed the lead in the fifth minute and never looked back in a 6-0 win over Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference archrival South Lenoir on Wednesday night.
Andy Garcia scored three goals and added an assist for the Hawks. Braxton Greene tallied one goal and one helper. Nicholas Kennedy and Landon Letchworth also scored for North Lenoir.
Mike Bednarz finished with two assists. Noah Reese added one assist.
North Lenoir (5-7-2 overall, 5-3-0 ECC) will be the guest of Goldsboro on Monday.
