PRINCETON -- Most of the capacity crowd at the Fred Bartholomew Jr. Athletic Complex on Friday night came to see a homecoming queen crowned.

Johnny Frasier made their wait more than worth it. Frasier accounted for four touchdowns in Princeton's 50-0 rout of Carolina 1-A Conference foe Hobbton.

Frasier had touchdown runs of 47 and two yards in the opening quarter, and returned a punt 56 yards for a touchdown. The junior tailback had 103 yards rushing in the opening quarter and finished the night with 151 yards on just eight carries.

"I just took the advantage of opportunity," Frasier said. "My blockers were blocking and my linemen were blocking, and I just followed them to the end zone. On the punt return, I wasn't going to going to pick it up but I heard the coaches telling me I was O.K., so I picked it up and took it back in."

Just moments into the second quarter, Frasier took a screen pass from quarterback Michael Wooten and raced 46 yards to the end zone as the Bulldogs' lead swelled to 31-0.

"We know (Hobbton) is capable and we've seen them on film marching down the field on some good teams," Princeton head coach Derrick Minor said. "We just wanted to make sure that we came out and didn't give them any momentum, any advantage so that we were able to do what we do."

Wooten tossed touchdown passes to Reggie Perry and Malcolm Best as the margin grew to 43-0 late in the first half. Wooten finished 4 for 6 through the air for 86 yards with three touchdowns and an interception.

Hobbton (0-7, 0-3 CC) was held to 97 yards of offense and was

0 for 9 on third-down plays.

Reggie Perry tacked on a 12-yard touchdown on the opening possession of the third quarter to extend the Bulldogs' advantage to 50-0.

Princeton racked up 377 yards of total offense.

The Bulldogs (4-3, 2-1) travel to league foe Spring Creek next Friday.
