Spring Creek turns back James Kenan

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek made the most of its opening-round match in the Carolina 1-A Conference tournament with a 25-11, 25-12, 25-18 win over James Kenan on Monday.
Rachel McCollum led the Gators with 10 kills. Sarah Ford recorded 11 assists. Olivia Martinez tallied six kills and six aces.
Spring Creek (14-5) meets Princeton in the semifinals tonight at Hobbton High School.
