Trojans' Lane 3rd among individual golfers

BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Virginia Lane is third among individual golfers and defending champion Mount Olive College is fourth in team competition after opening-round play of the King University Invitational.
The 36-hole tournament concludes today.
Lane carded a 75 on the Bristol Country Club links and is only one shot out of second place. Teammate Emy Ohling posted a 79 and is 10th overall.
Stefany King (86) shares 22nd place, while Julie Loennechen (88) and Lovisa Tillstrom (88) are in a three-way tie at 27th.
MOC logged a team total of 328.
