North Duplin knocks off Spring Creek in tennis

SEVEN SPRINGS -- North Duplin won all three doubles matches on its way to a 6-3 win over Spring Creek in a Carolina 1-A Conference match Tuesday afternoon.
Julissa Quintanilla, Jasmine Quintanilla and Casey Whitted each collected a singles win for the Rebels. The teams of Julissa Quintanilla-Whitted, Jasmine Quintanilla-Hope Thornton and Hannah Smith-Conner Mikitka also prevailed.
Carly Stevens, Grace West and Cassie Alphin each earned a singles point for the Gators.
