South Lenoir defeats Goldsboro

DEEP RUN -- Goldsboro endured a 25-15, 25-18, 25-18 loss at Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference foe South Lenoir on Tuesday afternoon.
Becka Pittard led the Cougars with four kills and three blocks. Matti Rose Lyon contributed 10 assists. Nickie Tyler had four kills.
Goldsboro (4-12 overall, 2-4 ECC) entertains Kinston on Thursday.
