Cougars drop ECC 2A match to Ayden-Grifton

Goldsboro keeper Chris Wiggins made 26 saves, but it was not quite enough in a 5-3 loss to Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference leader Ayden-Grifton on Monday.
Josh Matias, Jeffery Martinez and Mickey Eovine each scored a goal for the Cougars.
Goldsboro (2-13-0 overall) travels to North Lenoir on Wednesday.
