10-Under: C.B. Aycock 40, North Duplin 0 -- Clay Matthews collected four touchdowns, while teammates Chris Crow and Jamil Johnson supplied one TD apiece. Mathew Newsome and Turner Bass emerged the defensive leaders. The Little Falcons (3-0 overall) entertain Mount Olive on Saturday. Kickoff is 11:30 a.m. at Hardy Talton Stadium in Pikeville.
12-Under: C.B. Aycock 40, North Duplin 14 -- Tyler Hughes rushed for 248 yards and three touchdowns for the Little Falcons. Quinn Caballero had 90 yards and a TD, while Devajhea Applewhite added 48 yards and a TD. Xavier Eutsey scored one touchdown, also. Hughes paced the defense with six tackles, one quarterback sack and fumble recovery. Caballero recorded five tackles and recovered one fumble. Logan Garren (4 tackles) and Ashton Peronzeni each recovered a fumble. Coltry Hann and Colton Atkinson also registered four tackles apiece. The Little Falcons (3-0 overall) entertain unbeaten Mount Olive (3-0) on Saturday.
8-Under: Spring Creek 26, Goldsboro Chiefs 6 -- The Gators' players-of-the-game were Anthony Valentine and Daniel Estevez. Spring Creek (2-1 overall) travels to Rosewood on Saturday. Kickoff is 10 a.m. at Branch Pope Field.
