Golden Falcons break into ECC 3A/4A soccer win column

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock picked up its first Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference win of the season with a 4-0 victory over South Central on Tuesday night.
Chris Grieve got the Golden Falcons on the scoreboard with a penalty kick in the 36th minute.
Collin Zacharzuk scored in the 70th and 73rd minutes to extend Aycock's lead to 3-0. Zach Zacharzuk capped the scoring off Dominic Albano's corner kick.
The Golden Falcons held a 17-7 edge in shots on goal.
Alex Burke recorded the shutout in goal.
Aycock (4-6-0 overall, 1-4-0 ECC) visits Eastern Wayne tonight.
