Goldsboro serves up 20 aces against Kinston

GOLDSBORO -- Goldsboro snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 25-22, 25-23, 25-15 win at Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference opponent Kinston on Tuesday evening.
The Cougars' Becka Pittard finished with five kills and five aces. Alexus Davis contributed five kills. Amena Williams and Matti Rose Lyon each had five aces.
Goldsboro tallied 20 aces as a team.
The Cougars (3-8 overall, 1-1 ECC) entertain Ayden-Grifton on Thursday.
