South Central sweeps CBA on volleyball court

WINTERVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock notched 11 kills and eight service aces as a team during a 25-9, 25-18, 25-18 loss to Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A foe South Central.
Ashley Darden had three kills, while Meredith Burroughs contributed two kills and two aces. Courtney Warner supplied four kills, three digs and two aces.
Madison Martin led Aycock's defense with 15 digs.
The Golden Falcons (4-4 overall, 1-3 ECC) entertain county rival Eastern Wayne on Tuesday.
