Unbeaten Chargers blank Ridgecroft in tennis

Wayne Country Day lost just three matches in singles action and handed Ahoskie Ridgecroft a 6-0 defeat at Wayne Community College on Tuesday afternoon.
Rain washed out doubles play.
Gianna Democko, Taylor Willman, Jennifer Potts, Mollie McDonald, Meredith Roethling and Margaux Pope each earned a singles point in pro-set (eight games)play.
WCDS improved to 4-0 overall.
