Golden Falcon linksters place 4th in ECC 3A/4A golf meet

Madison Aycock carded a 53 and helped lead Charles B. Aycock to a fourth-place finish during an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference match contested at Lane Tree Golf Club.
Freshman Rachel Boulanger shaved four strokes off of her normal average and posted a 57. Teammate Madison Batts completed the Golden Falcons' team scoring with a 60.
Isabelle Boulanger and Anna Williams also played.
Returning starter Macy Weeks emerged Southern Wayne's low scorer with a 53. Alex Puerto and Jessica Carmichael provided rounds of 61 and 62 for the Saints.
D.H. Conley claimed the five-team meet with a 148, followed by South Central (156) and New Bern (161). South Central's Jenna Smith earned medalist honors with a 46.
The teams return to action next Monday at Greenville Country Club.
