MOUNT OLIVE -- Second-year Mount Olive College head women's volleyball coach Sarah Lusk has signed five players for the 2013 season.

Milany Camilo, Montgomery Register, Alysha Tyms-Burnett and Sarah Watkins have each inked a national letter-of-intent with the Trojans. Elyse Keating penned a grant-in-aid.

"We have a tall and talented group coming in this fall, including three at six feet or taller," Lusk said. "I think they'll team up very well with a solid group of returning players."

A 6-foot-3 middle blocker from Miami, Camilo earned All-Dade County recognition and played on the elite 18-1 (top-level class) for the Voleimiami Club team. She also appeared in the end-of-camp all-star game at the University of Florida.

Keating, a setter who hails from Dousman, Wis., played club volleyball for the Wisconsin Juniors. She received the "Dick Ohm Merit Award," which honors a positive attitude toward academics, participation in extra-curricular activities and service and leadership within the community and school.

Register helped lead Wilmington Hoggard to the Class 4-A Mid-East Conference championship and an appearance in the N.C. High School Athletic Association state title game. The 6-foot middle blocker was named the team MVP and earned a spot on the "A" Honor Roll and "A/B" Honor Roll.

A 5-8 outside hitter from Ocala, Fla., Tyms-Burnett helped lead Trinity Catholic HS to a district championship and earned all-conference accolades along the way. She was a member of the school's National Honor Society.

Watkins, from Eagle, Idaho, was named the athlete-of-the-year at Renaissance HS and earned all-conference academic honors. She was a three-year captain of her club team.

Mount Olive launches its 2013 season at the Francis Marion (S.C.) University Invitational on Sept. 6. The Trojans open the home portion of their schedule Sept. 13.
