Post 11 washed out ... again

For the 13th time this season, Mother Nature washed out a Wayne County Post 11 baseball game Monday evening.

So, Post 11 and Pitt County Pos 39 will attempt to play their Area I East contest today at Southern Wayne High School.

First pitch is 7 p.m.

Pitt County won the previous meeting, 9-0. Ironically, it's the last time either team stepped onto the field to play a game.

The Area I East playoffs begin July 7.
